October 2019 Press Release

The next meeting of the Coventry Diabetes UK Group is being held on the 21st  October 2019 from 7:30-9pm at the Salvation Army, Upper Well Street, Coventry. 

Our meting this month is our group Annual General Meeting where the finances of the group are discussed as well as discussions on any plans and campaigns we would like to join with. As a group we have already joined the Diabetes UK `Its Missing’ campaign, raising awareness of diabetes and mental health issues and how we can encourage health care providers, GP’s and University Hospital to make mental health services more readily available to those living with diabetes. 

There is no subscription to join the group and this meeting is open to everyone including the general public. Everyone is welcome.

Refreshments will be available and we will also be holding our usual raffle with donated prizes. This raises vital funds to support the group’s community work. Our meeting dates for 2020 will also be available, for those of you wanting to plan ahead.
